New Update: Career Stats Now Live on the Records Page

Career totals — matches played, wins, draws, losses, goals scored and conceded — now update correctly after every game and have a proper home on the Club Records page. Here is what changed and where to find your numbers.

Your career numbers matter. From your very first match, Goalcrest has tracked how many games you have played, how many you have won, drawn, and lost, and how many goals you have scored and conceded. Those totals tell the story of your reign as manager — and until now, they were not behaving the way they should.

A bug affecting existing save files meant the career counters could stay frozen at zero, even as you played match after match. New careers worked fine, but anyone who started a save before the feature shipped saw no movement. That is fixed: every save now initialises its career totals correctly, and the counters tick over the moment a result comes in.

At the same time, the career stats have moved off the home dashboard. Cramming running totals alongside match previews and weekly finance summaries made the home screen busy, and the numbers deserve room to breathe. They now have a dedicated section on the Club Records page, alongside your match records and unbeaten runs.

Open the Records tab and you will find a Career Stats panel at the top: seasons managed, matches played, win rate, goals scored, goals conceded, and your full W-D-L breakdown. Below it sit the same match records as before — biggest win, most goals in a match, longest unbeaten run — so all of your historical achievements live in one place.

If you have been playing for a while, your existing matches are already counted — no action needed. Future results will keep adding to the totals, so your managerial résumé grows with every season. Head to Records to see where your career stands today.
