New Update: Scout Any Club in the League

Knowing your opponents is half the battle in Goalcrest. Until now, the league table showed you the standings, but told you nothing about the clubs in it. That changes today: every team across all five divisions is now tappable.

Open the League page and tap any row in the table. A dedicated club detail page opens, showing exactly how that side is doing this season. You no longer have to guess whether a promotion rival is on a hot streak or whether your next opponent is leaking goals.

The detail page is laid out for quick reading. At the top, you see the club name, its division, and its current league position — with a trophy icon if it is leading the pack. For AI clubs, a squad strength rating gives you a sense of how tough they are, scaled 1 to 100 the same way the match engine uses it.

Below that sits a Season Stats grid: matches played, wins, draws, losses, goals for, goals against, goal difference, points, and win rate. It is the same data the table uses to rank teams, but expanded into a full picture for the one club you are scouting.

Recent Form is next — the last five results shown both as colour-coded W-D-L badges and as a list with the opponent and scoreline for each week. A run of green badges tells you a club is flying; a string of red is a side in crisis. It is exactly the kind of context you want before a derby or a promotion six-pointer.

Tapping your own club works too. The detail page adds a Squad Summary for your team: player counts by position and your top three scorers this season, with a link through to the full squad list for deeper planning.

Switch divisions on the League page and tap away — every club in the pyramid is fair game. Scout your rivals, track promotion contenders, and spot the relegation battlers before you meet them on the pitch.
