Update 0.6.9: Training Summary Redesign & a Key Events Match Log
The post-training screen now reads at a glance — total gains, average fitness, injuries, top standouts, and players grouped by attribute. The match engine now generates explicit missed chances with named strikers, and the Match Summary gets a chronological Key Events log of every goal and big chance.
Play NowTwo changes land together in 0.6.9, one on the training ground and one in the matchday review. Both are about turning raw data into something you can read at a glance and act on.
Training has always produced a list of effects — who trained what, who gained a point, whose fitness dropped. But the old summary was a flat run of names with no sense of the session as a whole. The redesigned Training Summary opens with three headline numbers: the total attribute points gained across the squad, the average fitness change, and how many players picked up an injury. Below that sits a Standouts block calling out the top three gainers of the week, so the players developing fastest are celebrated in one place, and a Setbacks block flags anyone who got hurt. Rested players get a single line. The effects themselves are then grouped by attribute — Attack, Midfield, Defense, Goalkeeping, Fitness Recovery — so instead of scrolling through twenty names you can see exactly where the development is concentrated and who is closing the gap on their potential.
On the match side, the engine now generates explicit missed chances. Where a "shot" event used to be a generic line of commentary, the match now produces genuine big-chance events: named strikers from your lineup who squander a clear opening, with commentary that tells you whether they skied it, dragged it wide, or were denied one-on-one. Missed chances show in the live feed in a distinct amber, alongside the goals in primary green, so you can read the flow of a match as it plays out — who took their chance and who wasted theirs.
The Match Summary page now carries a new Key Events log: a single chronological timeline of every goal and every missed chance from the fixture, for both sides. Each entry shows the minute, the scorer or the man who missed, the team, and a YOU or OPP marker, so you can read exactly how the game played out from first whistle to last. The summary stats also gain a Chances Missed row alongside shots and corners, and a dedicated Missed Chances breakdown lists your own squandered openings with the taker and the minute.
Load any save and play your next match, then apply your next training session — existing careers pick everything up automatically, and the new summary and event log appear on the very next result.
