Scouting Networks Explained: Where to Find the Next Wonderkid
Europe, South America, Asia, or Africa? Each region produces different player types. Here is how to build a scouting network that matches your strategy.
Play NowThe scouting network is one of the most powerful systems in the game, but it is easy to waste money on the wrong regions. Each of the four regions — Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa — has a distinct personality in the players it produces.
South America is the premium destination for attackers. The region has a strong position bias toward forwards and dribblers, making it the best place to find the next wonderkid striker. It is also the most expensive to upgrade, at €10,000 per level.
Europe is the safe, balanced choice. It produces solid defenders and midfielders with no glaring weaknesses. At €8,000 per level, it offers the best value for a club building a reliable spine through the middle of the pitch.
Africa produces athletic, powerful players — fast and strong, ideal for counter-attacking systems. Asia leans toward hardworking, disciplined players with strong stamina. Both cost less than South America and are great for filling out your squad depth.
The key is diversification. Rather than maxing a single region, spread your investment across two or three. This guarantees a steady stream of options for every position. Pair the Scout Master manager skill with a high-level region and you will regularly uncover A-grade prospects.
Remember the academy pool caps at 12 players. If you do not sign prospects, older ones get dropped — so review your scouting report every week and promote the best talents before they disappear.
