Update 0.6.10: Goal Animations & Fan Milestone Celebrations

Update 0.6.10 brings two pieces of feedback the matchday experience was missing — a punchy visual reward when the ball hits the net, and a sense of your club's growing fame beyond the weekly results ticker.

Goals have always been announced as a line of commentary in the live feed. From today, the moment a goal event lands in the match feed, a full-screen animation fires over the commentary box: a green flash, an expanding ring radiating out from the centre, a GOAL! banner that springs in with a little shake, the scorer's name beneath it, and a scatter of gold confetti. It lasts about a second and then fades, so the momentum of the match is never interrupted — just punctuated. Because it's driven by the same event stream the commentary uses, it fires for every goal, home or away, at exactly the right minute.

Off the pitch, your club now tracks global fan-count milestones. Each time your supporter base crosses a new round-number threshold — 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 10,000, all the way up to 5,000,000 — the engine queues a celebration. The next time you open the home dashboard, an animated milestone card slides in with the fan icon, the threshold you just cleared, your current fan count, and a note that your global popularity just grew. Dismiss it with one tap and it won't fire again for that threshold. Existing saves with large fanbases won't get spammed with old milestones — the system seeds itself to the highest threshold you've already passed, so only genuine future growth is celebrated.
